The Air Jordan 2 was released in 1986 and was the second installment in the Air Jordan signature line.
It was designed by Bruce Kilgore, who also worked on other classic Nike sneakers like the Air Force 1.
Unlike the Air Jordan 1, which had a more sporty and casual look, the Air Jordan 2 was designed
with a luxurious aesthetic in mind. It featured a more refined, Italian-inspired design, with
premium materials such as leather and faux lizard skin on the upper.
Although the Air Jordan 2 didn't achieve the same level of cultural impact as the Air Jordan 1,
it is still regarded as a classic and respected sneaker within the Air Jordan lineup.
